James is an
approximately 7-8 year old male Welsh Springer Spaniel with a
nautral tail. He was found in late May as a stray in the
Charlottesville, Virginia area and came in to the care of
Welsh Springer Spaniel Rescue on June 16, 2004. He is a
loveable and calm gentleman Welsh Springer Spaniel who still
enjoys active time outside with his foster family.
James is fully
vaccinated, wormed and was just neutered after coming in to
WSS Rescue. His heartworm preventative is in place and his
health is generally good for an older gentleman Welshie. He
gets along very nicely with the other resident dogs in his
foster family’s household and even plays with puppies. The
resident cat and horses don’t seem to interest him much
either.
James is showing
signs of separation anxiety and is now on Clomicalm for this.
He is not destructive when left alone. Continuous barking is
the manifestation of separation anxiety that he shows. James
would do best with a family where someone can be with him for
the majority of the time and he does fine in a crate when he
needs to be left alone. James has been sleeping in the
bedroom of his foster parents and is very content to just hang
out with his new family.
Is James the dog
that you would like to give some gentle senior years to?
