Today’s Fenton collector is much more familiar with acid being used to satin finish Fenton glass than sandblasting. Yet, as early as 1972 Fenton was using this method for certain finishes on glass. Over the next two decades satin glass was one of the most popular glasses in the Fenton line.
There are many methods of decorating glass & one of these has been known as “Cameo” glass. By means of cutting and/or acid etching a layer or several layers of glass can be cut & etched to form pictures & designs……….
